Note that if you are traveling in the European Economic Area, you must reciprocal health services provided by the state. For this, take a form known as E111, which is found in all the Post Offices. Before you leave, just remember to get the form stamped.
Always check with your health insurer whether the health insurance program sponsored by your employer covers medical care in a foreign country before you go overseas. If you feel the insurance is not adequate, then you can find a suitable travel medical insurance policy.
